Posted by Question on March 15, 2007, 12:58 pm Who are the people driving these objections? Are they scared to loose some obscure power or even a place in a team. My guess is that a closed vote of the players (who really matter), without the political and peer pressures being applied, would overwelmingly want to have a good squad made up from the two teams with a balance of young and old. I for one would relish this and would be very happy to play every now and again but train hard to keep fit and support my LOCAL rugby team!!
What are the main objections to the merger?
