This merger thing might sound like a good idea to some people but what you have to look at is the population of irlam and cadishead is very big if cadishead pulled 3 or 4 wins together more people would come down and wanna play, I dont think Hornets can be judged yet as they have only played 2 friendlys we will have to wait for the season to start, anyway a merger means that the merged club would field 17 players on a matchday, im in no doubt that if they dont merge both teams could field 17 players each thats 34 from the area so the more players is important as players getting left out of the merged team would get fed up and leave and end up not playing so a merge is a bad idea
plus everyone should start getting on with eachother as you never know when we might need eachother do we ????
