Posted by Red Leader Anyway, it was fun (especially the Mecha Panel, since the organizers couldn't get the program started for about 20 minutes and thus we spend said 20 minutes cracking jokes and throwing a Ryouoki doll around the room)... There was a game show we'd like to participate in next year... And I also hope next year they have more interesting things to watch in the Video Room (this year all they had that I wanted to see was Ghost in the Shell TV and I missed it because I was at the Mecha Panel. ;_;)... Really, the only bad part about the convention was that we couldn't stay longer (okay, okay... The REAL worst part was that they didn't put in fresh controllers for the Smash Bros. Tournament which contributed to Nadia and I losing. :p)... ^^;;; Hopefully, next year, we'll have costumes and can stay for the costume ball. I know Nadia's looking forward to that. :p

We tried to get one of our on-line friends who lives only a couple of counties away to come down for the convention, but poor planning killed the idea (he tried to plan the trip the night BEFORE the convention anded up booking passage on a Grey Hound Bus that dropped him off so far from the convention he'd barely have two hours to spend with us). Plus, if we had more money (to buy the clothes) AND if mother hadn't made me cut my hair, I would've had my hair grown out enough to have gone as Domon Kasshu. :p Oh, well. Maybe next year. I DO know Nadia wants to try to go next year as some girl named Yomiko from something called Read or Die (since already looks the part). ^^;;;;;;;;
