Posted by Traci I am with you about immature, lame or powerless prophecy - but I'm just glad people are trying it. I know that many have been hurt over the years . . . but how will this ministry (in its fullness with effective power) ever be restored to the church if we don't start trying? If Paul took time to adjure the Corinthians to do it, their (and our) wills must be involved. It is something we are supposed to seek to do. There is more to prophecy than the Spirit just falling on someone without their will or control involved. Otherwise, there would be no need to ask them to do something about it. Traci
