Well on that note... I makeit a personal conviction to NOT read the church bulletins, until after the worship part of service was over. That way..IF i was to be used to give a word, I would not have any preconceived ideas what the Lord would want to say, or not say.. AND I ouwld know if it was me and my ego..or God really using me to be a blessing... well, one of my favorite times was when I found myself, being used in the gift of tongues, after a particular worship song..in service... NOW, mind you, to my knowledge, THAT had not been done afor years in my church, if at all...??? my natural mind was realing, screaming sit down you idiot, what are you doing? EVeryone is wondering what you are doing!!??? :1 When i stopped..I stood there, praying that the Lord would PAALEEEZE have someone give the interpretation...He said basically, you give it. I was like NO WAy, that was like to me, looking for spotlight..I resisited. then to my surprse,. I found myself giving the interpreatation...after which, I quickly walked to the back of teh sanctuary, sure I may be called on the carpet... well..... Brian's message was on tongues. GO FIGURE!!! and me stepping out was used to show those in the assembly who had never heard of tongues...what they sounded like..(w/o the God-tone of course which by the way, i try not to do, but there is an unction when I step out..like not BB, or Alice..but you get teh point here... Several people recieved the BHS that night, it was way cool... anyway. The Apostles didn't get all wrapped up with daily affairs of the church..'xuse thay wording here.., they delgated that, so they could give themselves to prayer...
