You don't need to stand up in front of a service and speak in order to be prophesying. You can prophesy to one person alone about their life - speak as the oracle of God - speak under inspiration - speak life and hope to them - and you can be prophesying. Samuel spoke almost alone to Saul about his donkeys, Nathan seemed to speak alone to David, though maybe officials at court witnessed the story and confrontation. Prophecy is a ministry of strengthening, encouragement and comfort, it doesn't have to be public. This is just what we have been used to. Good question, though! Trace
