Can you be spirit fulled and not speak in tongues?

This came up on another thread. I'm being brave and challenging group think. Maybe you have all discussed this at length in another time and climb. If so, maybe you could refer me to old posts. But... I believe there are those that are definitely spirit filled and don't speak in tongues - I think they could if they really wanted to. I know of those who are opposed to tongues and yet have given accurate prophecies and received supernatural words of knowlege. I have read about Baptist healers - William Branham was a Baptist when he first began having supernatural experiences and seeing people healed as a result of his prayers. So, was he spirit filled when these things happened? He was saved, born again, and therefore the kingdom of heaven was in his heart. Wasn't the spirit dwelling in him? I love speaking in tongues and I think every Christian should - it is nigh near a command. But I have become frustrated with our old stand on this. Any thouhts? (I remember all the old arguments very well, so any thoughts would have to be different - well, unless you think that maybe I really have forgotten some Traci
