One of my former pastors, and his wife, are Hispanic. When he found I was forwarding an email suggesting those legally residing in the USA counter Monday's upcoming demonstration by purchasing, sent me the following email to me. I hope this is a joke Mike. I believe we need to pray for these people. Also, Mike my Dad was a ilegal. He then became a citizen. I do not know where people feel we close the doors now. Why did we not close the doors when the Irish came, the French, In fact Lets deport the Statue of liberty. Lets remember what is written on it. "Give me your hungrey , and your poor." On behalf of my mother being native american. We should of closed the doors when the first white settlers came. But we fed them, remeber thankgiving celebration. We taught them how to plant, and live in this land we now call U.S.A. Now let us look at it Biblical. God has always given a provision for the foreigner. In the time of the old testiment and the New. Must we forget why Paul wrote the book of Colossians, Mike I love you and Leslie very much. I am writing this email here from Tucson Arizona. I could not believe that it is against the law to even give those crossing this hot desert a class of water, or if they ar dying, any aide. My God!!!! But if you do not help a dog you are arrested here for being mean to animals. This past week, I recieved a call from Mario my son. He told me that my 10 year ld gradson was called a stupid neger, and he should go back where He came from. This stuff comes from parents and people that do not pray of seek God for His outlook toward man kind. I see now the full fillment of scripture, Brother against brother, Nation against nation. Let us not do as the unbeliever. What does God say. Many that are dying crossing are also bro. in the Lord. They are seeking a better way of life. I do not know the solution for all this mess, But I do not want to attribute to it. Lets pray, and then pray and then pray. To much hate and not enough of God. Many pastors here are willing to help these people, because they believe it is God will for us to aide. The question is they are breaking the law. We protest abortion, we speak about it being a bad law to allow this. So what does God say. Love Noe I am going to church. Have a blessed day
