Posted by MtG We are needing to travel to the Spokane Orthopedic Surgeons on Tuesday - without gas and lunch money. After church today we checked our Post Office box. Praise the Lord, there was a money order for $100. What wonderful timing. Things like this happen so often (not just having to do with finances), that I am led to believe that the circumstances and timing are of the Lord. Thank you Jesus for helping us once again in our time of need. (Thank you also for the sender(s) of the money order.) Just a side note - so no one will get the wrong impression - we are doing okay financially, just depleted our reserves preparing the house for "us."

Having just moved into our "new" home, we are finding many financial needs. As a result, we depleted our budget and were prepared to tighten our belts until my next Social Security check comes in. Friday we discovered our van headlight had been vandalized. It was just a piece of plastic shielding the bulb. I went to the parts department and ordered the necessary part -- $290. Yikes. We were now down to $0. The budget was truly depleted.
