I had a Baptist pastor and the same thing happened to him. I knew him when I lived in Sacramento, but this was earlier when he was pastoring a small Baptist church on Vashon Island. He became very curious about what was happening with Dennis Bennett at the Episcopal church in Ballard I think it was. He visited, got Spirit-filled, spoke in tongues. Then he rationalized that he didn't need to speak in tongues any more, so he never did again (or so he said). You have to watch what you say and do in many Baptist churches. There was a pentecostal underground at our Baptist church in Sacramento. Mum's the word. You didn't hear it from me. Speak in tongues?? Not in a Baptist church! Whadda ya crazy??
