Posted by Traci Acts 2:32-34 Does this mean that Jesus didn't have it before he was raised from the dead? It says that the Holy Spirit had not been given, because Jesus had not been glorified (Jn 7:39) What is it that Jesus received? It seems that it was something that he did not have before he had been glorified. But it says that he was filled with the fullness of God. . . But Paul prays the exact same for us,". . .that you might know the love of christ, which surpasses all knowledge and be filled with the fullness of God." So what does it really mean to have it? I know that it has to be waaaaaay more than tongues! Traci

It specifically says in Acts 2:
God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 3
