Speaking in tongues is like a wedding ring.

When guys go looking for a wife they check out woman's ring finger. The ring finger says it all. If a women in our society is married and goes around without her marriage ring on, we began to suspect her of perhaps not being true to her vows and playing around perhaps. In that since THE RING IS EVERYTHING! Of course the most important thing in that marriage is the love relationship, but we can not compare the two and say one is more important than the other...they both have there importance. Now if a women is madly in love with her husband, don't you thing it would be important to wear the ring, and if she didn't, can't we wonder why and question her love for him. Yes there are cases where the ring causes the finger harm or something, but we are talking in general,not the odd case.
