Posted by Traci It amazed me when I read the account closely about how Joseph began to feed Egypt when the famine began. First he took all their money and gave it to Pharaoh. Then he took all their flocks and gave them to Pharaoh. Then he took all their lands and gave them to Pharaoh. Then he took even them and made all the inhabitants of Egypt slaves of Pharaoh. This almost sounds like a one-world anti-X system to me. How could someone who has God's heart and purposes in mind, give the entire world (so to speak) to Pharaoh? I mean, really - Joseph! It is said that he represents Jesus in more ways than any other personality in the Bible. I think the US has been raised up to send out and finance the gospel into the world. I beleive it is one of the greatest (maybe the greatest for it's spiritual contribution from a heavenly perspective) nations to yet exist. But it is not the end of God's plan. A world government is God's plan. But he is going to use the devil to get it started, then he is going to smash the devil and take over (the short version). I don't think the coming world government (led by the anti-x) and all the avenues leading to it are a good thing. It's just that sometimes I think we lose perspective about America. America is not the epitome. And yes, I do believe that much of the judgment that is coming is because we have rejected God. Traci
