I cannot agree. I think the new covenant is pretty clear on not cursing those who persecute us (Matt.5:44, Luke 6:28, Romans 12:14), especially since Jesus became a curse for those at COA also. Our unruly tongue. Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing, and among the brethren these things ought not to be (James 3:8-10). It is not a New Covenant prerogative of anyone that I see in the New Testament. The above account looks like a “curse” ping pong game to me. ***Helen
