She told me of a sermon the pastor there gave, not regarding prophecy, but he had read the verse in Jeremiah (don't recall the refernce right now) that talked about men speaking dreams and vision, and that the people encouraged them to continue and these dreams and visions were not of God, but rather made up in the minds of men. She said that verse opened her eyes to what had bothered her about COA for a long time but she had dutifully "put it on the middle shelf". It wasn't long after that, within a week of speaking to me, that her husband came home from church and told her someone from COA had a vision that she was going to divorce him. This was never her plan, and this scared her so bad that she went BACK to COA. In one breath she acknowledged that HE was threatening to divorce her. In one breath she had confirmation that the dreams and visions from COA were bunk. And in the next breath she BELIEVES a vision from COA that says SHE will divorce HIM. She is still attending COA today. It just seems there is no escape...even when one does finally get out. Robbin

A woman from COA had contacted me because she had left and her husband still attended. She wanted to know how I had dealt with that situation because her husband had threatened her with divorce twice because she had left.
