Posted by JFJ on 5/5/2006, 8:50 am, in reply to "Don't you remember..." We had a CC fellowship at my mom's house in the mid 70's and I sure enjoyed that. Ralph Alskog and Greg Wood ran those and we really got close as a group and God did a lot of things in that group. I would like to see more of this kind of activity(home fellowships), it is a great place for older Xians to rub off on younger Xians and folks to just plain have a good time in the Lord while rubbing elbows and eating cake and drinking coffee.

All I can remember is the dicipleship program that I believe Bob Mumford had in the late 70's. DB was strongly opposed to this teaching. I think one of the teaching was that your parents are your spiritual head and they determine whether you go to bible college or not. So of course he was against that.
