He wanted to do so much for others and the lotto would make it happen. After years of praying and not winning, one day when he was beseeching God as usual to win, a voice boomed out of heaven and said; "Try buying a ticket". God has provided so many solutions to problems in His Word that many prefer to have handed to them on some miraculous plate in a show of power. The power is there, many times in simple principles that God has provided. Try His advice and directives first then go to the mat and pray when you hit a wall. Years ago, we messed up an order so badly that when reviewing what happened later I discovered we couldn't have done a worse job if we tried. It was a small customer but a customer is a customer. He called me when he was very angry. I let him blow off steam and speak his mind. When he was done, or should I say during a pause to catch his breath, I said; "You are absolutely right". I apologized and asked what I could do to make it right. It took all the steam of him and his demeanor changed immediately. He was a great customer and we were a great supplier from that time on. I could have prayed when he was yelling but the scripture that came to mind immediately is Proverbs 15:1;: "A soft answer turneth away wrath....." No miracle was needed, just applying the wisdom from above was the answer. Gordy
