I was in an 11 year relationship, just recently he broke up with me. He has been in therapy for about a year,he tells me we are two codependents in a relationship and the relationship does'nt work for him anymore. When we broke up I asked him multiple times if ther was someone else he repeatedly told me no. He tells me that I'm black and white, that if he's not with me then that must mean he's with someone else,he says I don't see the grey area. I agreed to go to therapy to work on my codependency, he told me if in the future if this relationship was to work we would have to tear it down and start over, I agreed. Then yesterday I find out through a cell phone he has been seeing someone and it stared before we broke up. He lied to me and his therapist, what is that? How productive can that be to be lying to your therapist? Any imput on this is greatly appreciated.
