I have a friend that has chronic back pain. She has been taking dilaudid and morphine for about 2 yaers. She also occassionaly takes valium and xanax. She is quite moody and cries at the drop of a hat. She will sleep for about 4 hours and then stay awake for about 5 hours and then goes back to sleep for another 4 or 5 hours. She has muscle spasms(myoclonus), stomach problems, and she is on 2 different antidepressants. I guess my question is, Does this sound like addiction to anyone?" I am co-depandent and I suppose this is a mental block for me. I am currently in counseling and read self help books often. Anyway, I was just reaching out. Thanks
