I was with this guy on and off for 8 years. We have been completely broken up for 2 years now, but I still think about him constantly. Nobody else compares to him in my opinion, even though I know first hand what an asshole he is. I still love him but he has a girlfriend that he lives with. What should I do? Should I try to be friends with him in hopes that his relationship fails and he comes back to me?
