I understand that you think about him; but why would you go back into a relationship with someone whom you said for yourself is an asshole. You deserve better, but you have to believe that for yourself. Think back to why you had to leave him alone in the first place and then ask yourself the question. What has he done to change the behavior that caused you to want to come out of the relationship you had with him. When you've been with someone for a period of time you will go through different emotions, just know that it will pass.
