I don't understand why this couldn't be an anthology book with a Spy character, a traditional hero, an outcast, a mythologic character, and a horror character. This would solve the problem of trying to keep a team together.

: Anyone else read the news about the latest
: volume of Hulk? It's going to be the
: Incredible Hercules.
:
: IGN Comics: Mark, Why was it important to
: revamp this title into one starring Hercules
: and move the Red Hulk concept into its own
: book?
:
: Pannicia: It was clear that there were more
: stories to tell with Amadeus and Hercules,
: that these two characters had a lot to offer
: each other. We originally wanted to spin
: Renegades off into its own book but we
: looked at this as a chance to offer fans
: something different than another team book,
: a buddy book if you will—that could allow us
: to tell some really human stories with crazy
: superhuman action.
:
: And Pak's 'boilerplate plug' for the book?
: "A ridiculously fun and sometimes
: surprisingly moving exploration of the
: insane amount of trouble that the planet's
: most irresponsible god and most incorrigible
: teen genius can make when they put their
: minds and muscles to it. Crazy hijinks, tons
: of smashing, occasional deep thoughts, and
: gorgeous art by Khoi Pham."
:
: So we came close to the Renegades book and
: the creative team will be Van Lente and
: Pham...
