Well Dan Ketch never lost his GR powers at the end of his series.
Remember: his series STOPPED at ish 93 since ish 94 never was released due to Marvel's financial status at the time necesitating some cuts to some books. We then briefly see his GR as King of Hell in an issue of the Werewolf series of that time, then in Peter Parker: Spiderman #93 his GR returns to earth as the Spirit of Vengeance and has to merge with him again. He rode off at the end and hasn't been seen since.
GR: Finale that was released when the movie came along was the long lost #94 and showed Dan alive so we know his GR as King of Hell restored his life. Downside though is that I don't think GR:Finale counts as continuity since in it Blaze was reunited with his wife, yet the handbook entries on Blaze states she decided to let him think she is dead so she could move on and Blaze as well

: So IF Blackheart's statement about only one

: So perhaps this battle is the result of

: Or else Ketch is trying to save Blaze from
