HOW DID YOU LIKE THE ISSUE?
Incredible Hercules #119
http://www.marvel.com/news/comicstories.4187.Preview~colon~_Incredible_Hercules_%23119
The, still, clever wordplay of 'SACRED INVASION' negates the doubt-VERY-much-it-really-happened, 'in this issue -- A GOD WILL DIE!' promise:

Cover: Wouldve liked it, if it had been obvious wreckage from a dreamship.
PrevPage: Kudos for the entertainment factor and naming the headshots and innuendo humor. On the negative side, it's fine by me but is very lacking in any worthy details for newbies jumping on board (the dreamship as it were).
p1 Hated this two-tone, reverse-tone, whateveryoucallit coloring that persisted thru the issue. If the 2tone-ish color is intentional to show the skrull dreamtime is a greenish hue - it still doesnt work for me. Loved the Plains Lord prophecy reference for Herc.
p2 Liked seeing the exact time of the skrull switch shown. Disliked Amadeus [it appeeears it was only the dog would be the 'least among them'] not smart enough to suspect Kirby since. Undecided about the shocking skrull blatant presence at a SHIELD WWH recovery site.
p3-4 Okay double page. Wouldve liked to find an Easter Egg in the Skrull Dreamtime. One page couldve better sufficed to simply convey: it's big and abstract.
p5 "Practice!" :D Now, can NOT wait for a flashback encounter between Hercules and Casanova! ;-)
p6 Unclear layout other than the most important element that the skrull is discovered.
p7 Very unclear splash page other than the most important element that the ship is smashed by outside forces. So the ship is that fragile? So the destruction pushed everyone in proximity to each other? So this it the real Cho?
p8 Good reacctions.
p9 So, Cho is not a superhuman but uses his calculation-power to try to be like acrobatic Daredevil. Meanwhile Atum tries the puppy chow like a flesh eating Venom wannabe.
p10 Not a fan of Atum but he does get a good 'burn' in here.
p11 Nice ('cuz it's) brief Greco flashback. Nicer to learn ('cuz it's a comic book) that punching is still Herc's strong suit (pun intended).
p12-15 Messy fight layouts - overwhelming foes was the clear gist of it (the 978 total absorbed pantheons was an interesting fact - empire size from the first OHOTMU skrull entry?).
p16 Running away by jumping on nearby floating rocks is the best they got?
p17 Messy attack page - monster regrouping was the clear gist of it.
p18 Very cool Narya moment! And Snowbird gets some good artistic detail(other than Herc) denied the others. Have to go back and see if NEOOQTOQ is in Alpha Flight #24 classic issue...
p19 Running away by letting Herc's team-followers Snowbird and Cho making him leave a fight? Wouldnt he have to be closer to unconscious to agree to leave a fight?
p20 Wonderfully emotive look on Herc's face.
p21 Sooooo, uuuhm... all he had to do was call?
p22 Solid, somewhat standard, cliffhanger encounter.
The excellent Kirby reveal really has done wonders to redeem the annoying story point of the coyote's uncanny durability so far. So glad to see it was intentional after all my previous negativity toward it but disappointed was not able to figure it out. (Should have rewatched the STtNG ep for clues that time Geordi doggysat that disguised monster!) Anyways, hopefully they make a conscious instory effort to bump Cho 8++ spots down the smartest people list. Unless of course, he's a skrull too - y'think when he fitted the robo hindlegs... Technically, even Ajak and the others could still be skrulls too.
Lots of stuff happens. The team dynamics is developing. SI really feels like it's moving along here. And the outcome of this quest really has me intrigued. Despite some unclear sequencing and unpleasant art panels the issue actually turns out average with the overall content.
