SHIELD wants a countermeasure to the Secret Warriors and a non-CSA regulated FSI Team equivalent. Also they deliberately try for the "Old Into New" look.
Black Widow (Yelena Belova deliberately dressed similar to Natasha for deniability reasons. Serving as part of her sentence and also witness relocation post-Vanguard)
Gilgamesh (Sporting a beard. Straying from Eternals again.)
Blazing Skull (reassigned after Last Defenders)
Red Raven (Dania)
Equinox (stands with ice side facing viewers for team photo and your suggestion of Terry Sorenson going straight works)
Coincidentally Bill Foster's nephew will get involved and later join and pretty sure my ironic way/reason for bring 'Darkstar' back would be '#38'. My 1st 'new' member choice would probably be a character from the Loners mini series.
: Spy, godling, mutant/flight based character,
: mutant/ice control, and demon/angel. Add in
: a size changing mutate genius who did it to
: himself and energy manipulating foreigner
: and you have the 70's Champions. Thought
: I'd think it out and see who fits the bill
: Mockingbird (Veronica King is the SHIELD
: agent I see with the ID now), Valkyrie (a
: revived Brunnhilde), Cannonball, Equinox (a
: Terry Sorenson going straight), and Gargoyle
: would be the main team and the counterparts
: to the add ons would be the original
: Darkstar (I can think of at least
: thirty-seven ways to undo the lame death she
: got) and Sundragon as the mutate.
