I must apologise the
1951 was the book which had Curly with Friends on a Toboggan on the cover and in November 1952 was published the one with Curly on Horseback,the latter was checked at The British Library and also in their Newspaper Archive from an Advert in The Birmingham Mail.This reverses what I put earlier.
