new owner/okatee still hiding after 4 days

is it normal for my snake to be hiding under his hiding spot this long. Should he be moving around his cage more. i have handled him many times is this too much. is he stressed?.i am nine years old. got him for christmas. I am supposed to feed him on friday, today is wednesday, should I wait a couples more days to allow him to adjust?
