Usually corn snakes don't bite at all so a few things could be triggering this reaction:
1) You smell like some kind of animal wether it prey or predator (always wash hands before/after handing animals)
2) when you pick him up you move to quickly therefore scaring him into a denfensive mode
3) You do not hold him enough for him to be use to you.
4) You may have other animals in the room that he can sense/smell and he can't get comfortable around you.
: How long does it normally take for a corn
: snake to stop trying to bite everytime I go
: to hold him/her ? I've had the snake 19 days
: now and realize it will take some time but
: was wondering how long? the snake is about
: 12" long. Thank you
