If your snake rarely comes out and he is in the hide most of the time its probably because he is just either trying to rest, is in shed mode (which isnt complete until all the skin is off), or he got fed recently and just doesn't feel like moving. If your snake doesn't have any physical sympthoms of being sick he probably isn't sick at all. As long as he is eating well, his stool is the normal color, and he isn't making any kind of noises he should be fine. Is about to shed@ all?
