I have an 8 yr. old corn snake. Ever since I let my Fifth grade students hold the snake last week, he has behaved differently. He is lethargic and doesn't move around his cage like he used to. I had the students wash their hands before touching the snake. Could he catch something from the students? Could he be sick? Shock? Or just glad school is out like the students? On the positive side, he did eat a feeder mouse 2 days ago. Are there vets that specialize in snakes?
