Fightin or mating ritual

two of my snakes got into a scuffle only lasted 2 seconds and one of them was trying really hard to get out the tank..was the one that made him/her ( I dont know the sexes of the snakes) act like that because of sex or was it too males gettin territorial because they are maturing? Everything is fine now and there was no blood or nothin too vicious...But plz get back to be asap thank you.
