This is what you can do. First get all the information you can on the corn snake species. then write a 3 or more page double spaced paper on why you think you should have the snake. also if she will go through with it have her take you to the pet store with the pager you've written to see if the reptile specialist can back up what you have written in the paper. If he can back you up, it will show your mother that you really will take care of the snake because you did the proper research and you are very knowledgeable about the snakes. Try that it should work. Remember you only get what you put into this project. So if you give 50% you only going to get 50% results. So give it your all. And good luck.
