Hi: Dont give up just yet. Leave a dish of water on the floor - they will come out a night and will be looking for water. You could try leaving a dead pinky in a dish by the water but through it out if it is still there in the morning because they will strart to go bad. also you could try leaving a place for him to hide that you could check regularly like a box or peice of wood with a little space under it. please let me know how you make out.
