Well my little Miami finally ate. He is a month and 10 days old. In very good looking shape. But getting very restless. Tonight I Misted down his enviroment, put him and a live pinkie(day old) in a small container, put them back in his home at the warmer end, covered with a cloth, turned out the lights and left them alone for 2 1/2 hours. When I came back miami had a round belly and the pinkie was gone.
The force feeding thing didn't turn out as miamie is very small and my fingers are pretty big compaired to the size of his head. I guess I was just in to much of a hurry and concerned that he had to eat right away. Waiting and giving things time to sort out pays of in the long run.I hope this can help someone else out.Good luck.
