- This might test your nerve but when you pick him up don't jump back, go in and continue to pick him up even if he does try and strike, if you don't this it will get to be a habit for your snake to keep striking. Hold him and let him crawl through your fingers and around your hands for 5 to 15 minutes
- The other thing is make sure you feed him in a different place other than where he lives. Put him in a tub or container to feed him. Good Luck.
