Believe it or not this was just a mating thing because I have two corn snakes my self and this happen to mine and down the road one of my snakes ended up having 2 clutches of eggs ( at different times) one time before the eggs came a long I was able to watch first hand the mating of corn snakes...so no its not fighting....
