I've just rented and watched "The Chronicles of Narnia",
the movie on DVD. I'm a bit reluctant to give an opinion on
it with some feedback to get me started. I'd be very
interested in reading what others here thought of it first.
.
But just to start things going.... I've wondered if Lewis'
"Edmund" the young traitor, was his way of smoothing the
bad feels about a certain other Royal personage who took
sides with the Nazis during WW2? Wasn't he an "Edward" or
"Edmund" or something? My world history is a bit fuzzy.
All I remember is that he was exiled for a time. And it
struck me that C.S. Lewis might have been using this
as part of his story. Also, the Stone Table reminded me
of Stone Hinge. Was this deliberate?
