The Stone Table, while reminscent of Stonehenge, actually is a stand in for the Cross on Calvary. And Edmund pretty much represents both Judas Isacriot (for his betrayal of Aslan and the others), and the sinful human race (for Aslan's act of taking Edmund's rightful punishment).
