Posted by Kenneth Morgan Sure, it's a blatant marketing decision, and they may be available again next year for the rumored anniversay edition in 2007. But, I think I might just go with it. I wonder what the more contrary "Star Wars" fans will complain about next? Probably they'll want a Special Edition of the notorious "Holiday Special".

I found out recently that, in response to popular demand, George Lucas has agreed to release the original theatrical versions of the "Star Wars" OT on DVD. They go on sale for a limited time in September.
