Again, sorry I'm posting this a bit late.
Anyway, tomorrow is Academy Awards Sunday. And I have no intention of watching the Oscar show (though I might've reconsidered if the WGA strike was still going). But, I will be marking the occasion. I'm going outside the rotation and watching one of the two MST Oscar specials. And this year, that special is...
"The MST3K Little Gold Statue Special"
That's the one they made for TFNWSRN. Featuring a special appearance by Ed Asner.
And, to broaden the field, I'm also digging out my copies of the "Futurama" episode "That's Lobstertainment!" (also spoofing the Oscars) and the Python show with the British Show-Biz Awards (featuring David Niven's fridge).
Of course, if any masochists amongst you want to watch the stars salute themselves, feel free.
