Actually, this one was pretty good. It had some good effects and production design. It was also, though, pretty goofy, what with the aforementioned "letter people" and that revolting-looking gunk that followed our heroes. It was also unusual in giving a couple of heroic characters pretty ignominous deaths. I also found that, in my opinion, it seemed a lot like "12 to the Moon" in style, including the all-but-traditional meteor shower.

The riffing was OK, though I was surprised that the robot got so many Tweeky riffs, but no R2 riffs. And I'll have to check but I figure Frank's stuff during the Invention Exchange must've been from his stand-up act. And, of course, thus ep had two of the better host segs: the gorilla visit (w/ "Oh, Sweet Mother of Mine") and the bizarre Klack foods commercial (love Joel's expressions!).

Not bad this time.
