As for the movie, this one wasn't too good. Okay, I can accept creative casting, like Sean Connery as a Lithuanian sub captain. But casting middle-aged men (once source says the guy playing Lewis Moffett was 42 at filming) as young med students goes a bit far. Add in the lame pre-"Animal House" frat gags and the jokes about the overweight couple and it doesn't look good.
One thing: I wonder if this was supposed to be the start of some anthology series of movies, with a different story from a different tombsyone each time. That's what it seems to look like to me. Oh, well, I liked Puma, though.
As for the ep, it was a good one. Great riffs, funny host segs (Joel down the chute, "The Old School", the vacuum post-mortem) and Frank's "If Chauffer's Ruled the World" song. A good experience, this time.
And, it's also the last item left in my rotation. So, I'm making a bit of a change. Stay tuned...
