As far as the way others have co-opted riffing, I look at it this way: they may think they're good, but I'll stick with the true masters of the art. Besides, the riffers today seem to have no knowledge of anything beyond the last two years, so their stuff gets thin fast and is quickly irrelevant.
As for the current incarnations, I'm still gathering up a good-sized collection, but what I've seen and heard seems OK. I'll let you know when I'm ready for the Outside Stuff rotation.
And maybe Crow has some ideas of where the other alumni are. Just as long as some of the more disruptive elements stay away and we don't have to go into "secret clubhouse" mode. Remember that?
And don't be a stranger; I'm willing to waive the 52 weeks.
