...but I saw "WALL-E" this past Saturday and thought it was great. Pixar has always done a good job with its movies and this one worked very well. Unlike some comments I've seen. I didn't think it was a heavy-handed "message picture". It was pretty funny and touching, with some great character bits. The short, "Presto", which opened the movie was good, too, though closer in spirit to the old WB cartoons.
Oh, the night I saw it, the theater (the Dunellen Theater Grill in Dunellen, NJ) was packed and there was a long line at the concession stand. So, I missed the trailer for "Meet Dave", the upcoming Eddie Murphy movie based on an original script by Bill Corbett. I'd seen the trailer before, though, and I'm not exactly breathless with anticipation.
