Actually, this is a pretty good movie. As I noted a while back, I've seen the unMSTed version (it's a fan-recording, but you didn't hear that from me) and read the novelization and liked them both. Okay, the opening credits & song are pretty annoying, Catherine Schell's Gumby headdress was ridiculous and the "zero-G" bar fight wasn't great. On the other hand, it had some good action & production design, the "space western" idea was pretty novel, and I thought the use of the jazzy soundtrack to provide the "sound effects" for the space scenes was interesting.
As for the ep, it was pretty good. The riffing was fine and the host segs were OK. Odd that Mike should have no memory of this one in the ACEG.
All in all, not too bad, I thought.
