I'm not so sure that "Hancock" or "Lakeview Terrace" would qualify as being overtly political, since I'd assume both were greenlighted back when it seemed that Sen. Clinton was all but assured of being nominated.
On the other hand, I have no doubt that Oliver Stone's upcoming biopic of President Bush was politically motivated, in that it's one last chance to zap the President and his party before the election. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Stone "reveals" that George W. Bush was the second gunman on the Grassy Knoll.
