In spite of the awkward timing (watch, my flight tomorrow will be delayed by Tab Hunter), this ep is a really funny at times. The movie is typical made-for-TV fodder, though Clu Gulagher is very cool as the laid-back security chief. The riffing, though, was great, with the sequence of the kid in the small plane one of the funniest MST bits I can remember.
On the other hand, I do think they were too harsh towards David Hartman. Oh, well.
The host segs were mixed. The debate teaser was well-timed (and made more sense then recent political debates), I really didn't need to see the Mads in home-construction mode, and the Urkel routine was generally OK.
More funny than not, this week.
