As noted, this is actually a pretty good movie, with Vincent Price at his best. Still, the movie is better known for William Castle's gimmicks (see below) than the actual production.
As for the riffing, Mike does OK solo on this. I was surprised that the presence of Elisha Cook, Jr. inspired no "Maltese Falcon" riffs, and while Richard Long's presence brought on "Big Valley" references, there were no "Nanny & the Professor" jokes. And no reference to Emergo, the Castle gimmick for this movie. (I won't spoil it here; suffice it to say I really wish I could've seen it live.)
Well, anyway, it was an OK selection.
