Which is exactly what I did. The bumpers, made for the "MST Anthology" marathon, were pretty good with yet another Thanksgiving dinner at Deep 13. Not as good as the first one, but OK.
As for the ep, I thought the short, "Once Upon a Honeymoon", was pretty good with some great riffing. I was surprised, though, that no one speculated that the wife in this one was one heck of a lot like Nuveena, what with her housewares obsession.
The main movie, though, was pretty bad, what with male pregnancy, NASA as a Mom & Pop organization, and a re-use of the creature costume from "Teenage Caveman". Okay, maybe Roger Corman didn't direct it, but it sure bears his fingerprints.
And, as noted, I also watched football, some Thanksgiving-themed episodes of "King of Queens", "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving", "B.C.: The First Thanksgiving" and "Turkeys Away!" from "WKRP". And my Mom did a fine job with the food; the rest of us helped out with other stuff.
All in all, I had a nice Thanksgiving. How was yours?
