I don't see the harm in promoting other riffers when they're paying homage to MST3K.When MST3K first started, they weren't seasoned professionals, were they? I prefer supporting writers of any length of time,if it's 20 years or 20 months. It doesn't matter. These guys are not capitializing on MST3K anyway, are they? No! If you have checked out cheepnis.com,you can order discs of fans riffing on movies, like Star Trek V and Little Red Riding Hood and they do their versions of the characters of MST3K,so are they going to drive the former(MST3K)out of business? No,of course not! What's wrong with imitators anyway?? I mean, why not give those who crave for more MST3K something else, since the show will no longer be back on the air?? I know there's Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax, but shouldn't there be something more?? I think you're taking this too seriously anyway, right?? Of course you are.I think in this world there should be room for everyone, right?? Think of all the Star Trek imitators and its sequels and spin-offs.Remember,MST3K was a little show that could and did and I think we should support shows like it as well..Besides,there's nothing wrong with their name.Could you think of a better name for a show that riffs on bad movies??Maybe something smartass probably. Also, where's this anger coming from anyway?? What's the big deal if a show is paying tribute/a heartfelt homage,if you will,to one of the best shows on TV?? That's a nice compliment.Let them do their show and make people laugh, which is what they're good at.
